Mend Poulan Lawn Plug Engine

poulan lawn tractor motor ceased up!?

somehow I must have moved or nudged the oil plug on the engine letting all the oil spill out. it ran for about 30 seconds then shut off. checked it and the engine with not move backwards or forwards.

Is my motor totalled? does it need to be rebuilt?

I was thinking bout re filling with oil and physically rotating the motor to loosen it up?

too little, too late???

whats the average cost to get a motor rebuilt?

hey do you think the engine ceasing up would be covered by the warrenty?

i checked and the oil spill is like 2 inches from the right foot rest. so i'm more than sure i nudged it. but i'm thinking if must be faulty because it shouldnt be that weak.

do you think they'd cover it as faulty equipment or do you think they'd put the blame on me and not cover it?

DONT!its locked, you start turning things something will move but probably not the bit you want.there's a small possibilty it can be saved.but not if u bend the crank.strip it down or go to repairer.
