Mend Poulan 17.5 Riding Mower

How can I fix my poulan 17.5 riding mower?

I am working on 17.5 poulann riding mower and I am not getting a spark. What is the air gap on the coil and how do I check the coil?

use a buisness card to set the coil unplug the small wire on the coil then check the spark at the plug if it sparks the coil is fine check the safty switches if no spark the coil is bad dont forget to replug the small wire on the coil
