Mend Hayter Harrier 41 Lawn Mower Briggs & Stratton Engine

Have Hayter Harrier 41 lawn mower?

I wonder if someone could help please using mower (briggs stratton engine) it just died on me will fire up but runs for about 5 seconds and cuts out. I changed plug will fire after couple of pulls then dies.Thanks

Do not attempt to run the engine with the blade removed, it acts as a flywheel and will snatch the rope out of your hand and cause possible injury, the first post was sent by some fool useing my name.

Sounds like the timings out. You may have knocked the blade slightly which would cause the firing then cutting out.

Reomve the blade and try starting it without the blade on. If it still doesn't start or it snatches the rope from your grasp then that is a serious engine failure and to be honest it's not going much further in terms of cost. Sorry.
