I tried to switch on my tv today and the legend "LOCKED" came up on a black screen in red letters. The tv was fine yesterday. Nothing in the manual helps. I can't operate the tv with the remote or manually.
Can anyone help?
Having JUST posted the above, I found the user manual on the web at http://www.p4c.philips.com/files/2/25pt4456_25/25pt4456_25_dfu_eng.pdf
This shows what to do to unlock the TV, but it is not clear whether it might have been caused by a fault which needs attention. Tried to call service (0115-912-5261) but no answer. Now to get a replacement remote.

My daughter's Philips 25PT4456 (4 years old) did the identical thing last night when the DVD player SCART was switched on, so sounds like a Philips thing. Power disconnects don't fix. Dog ate the remote, so we're even more stuck!
