Mend Bissell 1400 Green Machine Pump

Bissell little green machine?

I am replcing th pump motor assy. in my green machine, stupid me took the wires off of the pump and did not mark them as to thier terminal positions. Any ideas, there is a red and black dot on one side of the pump near one of the terminal connections. the other terminal has no markings or color coding. Any ideas?

The dot indicates the positive terminal. So, the positive from the transformer would go on that one, and the other, negative.
