Hi have an indesit dashwasher di61uk about 8 year old ?

The program selection control button broke and must have got water in it because the dishwasher would go through all settings and stop mid cycle with program 1 green led continually flashing. I replaced the board and the dishwasher pump which empties the machine runs even though there is no water there and the green led is still continually flashing.
