Mend Simpson Espirit 650 Washer Fills Stops

Intermittant agitation?

Simpson Espirit 650
Washer fills, sometimes agitates for a while then stops, timer still going, sometimes will not agitate at all, timer still going, After the wash cycle has timed out the remainder of the spin and rince cycle is fine.

I am not familiar with this m/c and this is not a complete reply but if the motor has brushes then they should be checked as sometimes the motor will work on spin but intermittent on wash due to more vibration of the motor and more heat generated on spin. Worn brushes could cause this.
