how can i fix my washing machine if always stops b4 the spin cycle?

how can i fix my washing machine hoover 550 MA if it always stops b4 the spin cycle? Its sounds like something is loose and seems like its slightly imbalanced.

check waste pipe and other pipes for blockage problem,including the filter, check and clean out the pump,test the pump is operating may require a new one.

Machine MUST have pumped OUT the EXCESS WATER before ATTEMPTING to spin.
