master reset of scantronic 9800?

Can any body tell me the master reset for a scantronic 9800 alarm
I have had to reply the battery and have a service and fault indication. Unfortunately my parents only have the user manual wich states no engineer code needed. The engineer who fitted the system is feeding the worms and as pensioners they do not have the funds to pay high call out costs. please email ebbski@aol.com
