Mend Sears 310707 Lawn Tractor Gear Mower

lawn tractor will not move?

Our sears lawn tractor mower Craftsman 310707 type 0137-51 will not move forward or backward. Starts fine. When I put it in gear it does nothing. Doesn't make any sound when I put it in gear. Could something of came apart. Was not having any known problems.

Rachel; Do you have the operation manual for the mower? In it there is a section on how to repair your mower. Now there are two pullies on the motor. The one that you need to look for is the upper pully as this is the pully that drives the mower. The lower pully drives the mowing deck. From your description it sounds like maybe the belt has broken or come off a pully. Check to see witch one applys. Good luck !
