Tractor stalls when u remove foot off brake?

i have a craftsman riding mower, it worked fine then one day i started it , put it in gear and let off the brake but it stalled, it will run fine with ur foot on the brake , soon as u take ur foot off the brake it will stall , i have a big yard and i really dont feel like using the push mower anymore so if u have anything that will help me fix this please reply

Your brake pedal has an interlock switch that is supposed to stop you starting up in gear. I guess this has become faulty - there will be other switches around the machine too and it could be an idea to isolate them one at a time.
