driving along sort of click and engine stopped it is 1.8 petrol
has it got collision proof valves if cam belt goes?

if your cambelt has snapped then you will definitely have valve damage. if you get someone to remove the cambelt cover you should be easily able to identify if it is that has caused the problem. if it isn't that then it can be a number of things which could cause it to stop.
