Yesterday my power assisted steering stopped working. Can I still drive without causing more damage (i.e. to the garage) and is this an expensive thing to fix?
anybody know how on earth to find a replacement for the above mentioned sensor??
Mine has cracked and come off, spraying my PAS fluid everywhere!!
I can't for the life of me figure out where to get one!

check the power steering pressure sensor is on the left behind the radiator as u look at it. look for the electric cable on the end. Is easy to take off with a 21mm spanner they are prone to leaking if you replace make sure you top up fluid do not drive with no steering fluid as will damage your pump and can get expensive.

if it is making a screaming noise then you have run out of fluid. driving without fluid can damage your power steering pump. cant say how much it will cost without knowing exactly whats gone wrong. could be pipe, rack, pump etc.
