Mend Toro Wheels Locked Up

Toro wheels locked up?

Out of the blue, our Toro self-propelled mower's wheels locked when trying to pull the mower backwards. Totally locks up. Can't figure it out. Help?

Well, I'll be. Decided to start it and see what happens, and the wheel unlocked immediately and worked fine. Go figure
