I'm having the same problem as Cyndi, abitates but no spin. When put in spin, the lid closes tightly and the machine is trying to drain, but the machine won't spin at all. Any suggestions?

When you put it in spin mode does the washer make any noises or is it dead? The lid switch could be bad if the maching goes into a "dead" mode.
