Mend Hoover DM4490-001 Vacuum Motor Filters

My Hoover DM4490-001 keeps cutting out?

I have a Hoover DM4490-001. I have fitted a new motor, new filters, new roller but now it keeps cutting out after about 5 mins. use. Any ideas please. regards Phil

Nothing to do with motor etc. it is the bag. Stupid design but you have to wash it out. Soak overnight in washingpowder then rinse thoroughly and let it dry out for 24 hrs. Unfortunately that's all you can do, then it works until bag gets clogged up again. It is a poor design
