how can i fix my e machine w1500?

my computer will not let the monitor responde when the cord from the monitor is attached properly. the monitor does work properly with other computers. what can i do to fix this

I'm guessing by ' will not let monitor respond' you mean you get no picture at all?? If this is the case:

Sounds like the Graphics Card/Chip is nooked.
Have you tried an independant/replacement graphics card to see if this solves the problem?
