SOLUTION wt960 f10 problem?

I had this problem with my wt960 it also showed up other fault codes.so after a bit of messing on I managed to locate the problem as the tube attached to the pressure sensor.so heres how to fix it.

this will probably work for other models also

unscrew the 2 screws on the back bottom panel, look inside at the bottom of the drum, you will see the rubber filter housing.if you have had the machine a while you may as well remove the clip from the top of the drum attaching the filter housing and remove the filter from inside the rubber as it will probably need cleaning(kill 2 birds with one stone)attached to the side of the rubber filter housing is a white plastic tube it is attached to a small hose which heads to the pressure sensor.remove the clip securing the tube to the rubber housing.this tube and hose are the problem the clever people at hotpoint have clamped this tube to the side of the drum which after time with the drum moving the pipe becomes crimped which stops the pressure sensor from working.now at the top back of the washer remove the 2 screws keeping the lid on and slide the lid back(it will be very stiff)it should slide back around 2-3 inches and then you can lift of the lid.follow the small hose and you will see the pressure switch.remove the hose from the pressure switch(small clip and pull)now feel around the drum removing the hose from the clamps, you should now be free to pull the hose and white tube up and out.give the white tube a clean making sure theres no sludge inside now massage the hose where its been clamped to the drum to return shape to the hose then have a good blow down the hose to make sure its not blocked.now refit everything the same as you removed it
BUT DO NOT PUT THE HOSE BACK IN THE CLAMPS ON THE DRUM

ALSO
make sure that all clips attaching the filter housing to the drum are secure as if not you will flood your room when the machine emptys.

This might sound like a hard job to do,but its not and you could save yourself a fortune
good luck
and let us know how you get on
