Faulty Hitachi C28W430N?

When I first switch my TV on the picture is really bright. I can get a good picture but I have to keep swithcing on and off repeatedly.

An excessivley bright picture is normally either bad Joint on earth to A1 pot(part of LOPTX) or a dry joint on the HT Line for the video driver transistors on either the Line stage or the tube base
