Mend Karcher 432M Faulty Switch Machine

karcher 432m super pressure washer?

how do I change the faulty on/off switch on my karcher 432m super pressure washer, my machine is approx. 20 years old and is in good condition apart from the faulty switch which has to be held in all the time for the machine to work.

I had a similar problem and in desperation cut away the rubber cover to the switch as it seemed the switch was not working.

Once this rubber had been removed the switch clicked firmly into the on position.

I now take particular care that all is dry should I need to operate the main switch. Most of the time the washer is controlled by the switch in the lance.

Found this query whilst looking for a patio washer for the 432M - so far without luck
