Mend Crate G40CXL Stopped Working Fine

How do I fix The Reverb on a Crate G40CXL?

The reverb on my Crate G40CXL Amp has stopped working. It is a spring reverb and was working fine, then for some reason quit.
Does anyone have the Schematics for this amp or any clue what might be wrong.
Also the volume switch makes noise when you turn it up or down. The pots seem to be closed or sealed. Will contact cleaner help.

Check your wiring from the reverb tank to the amp. Sometimes, the connections at the reverb or at the amp (RCA plugs) are dirty. pull an push in and out your connectors into the socket, and turn it for cleane it. Sorry for my english, I'm french speaking.

I checked the reverb tank and found nothing to be amiss.
Seems to be in good shape.

Hi,
It is worth checking the reverb tank(long metal box usually visible in the back of the amp enclosure - you should be able to unscrew the reverb tank and look inside - check none of the springs have become detached - if so you need to get a new one - difficult to repair unless experienced. hope that helps.
