Mend Elna 722010 Sewing Machine Belt

timing on an Elna Supermatic sewing machine. the green coloured one?

The timing belt jumped off the sewing machine and I was able to put it back on. Unfortunately the timing is now incorrect. How do I reset the timing for this machine or do I have to take to a repair shop. I am mechanically inclined and do have quite a bit of tools.
This is the Elna with the free arm. The information plate with volts, watts also has a Type Number--722010--
