How can I replace Brother VX 1100 sewing machine belt?

I purchased a new belt for VX1100 brother sewing machine. I have removed the back and still can't remove the old belt. Any advice?

gonna have to remove front cover as well except if you willing to force belt between cover and handwheel.only problem with this is you wont be able to tension belt properly,just rememember not to overtighen belt
