Mend Peugeot 405 Reg Top

lit up symbol on dashboard of k reg peugeot 405?

k reg peugeot 405 symbol lit on dashboard slightly domed top with what looks like knob on top and wavy lines of fluid below,red light.nothing in handbook looks like it.have asked several peugeot owners, they don,t know,please help.

Confirmed as the low coolant level indicator. Top up system and check for leaks. You may have experienced reduced heat from the heater and higher than normal engine temperature with this warning.

I THINK it may be the coolant level warning. Let engine cool & check / fill up to reqd level. My 405 has a level indicated on radiator below filling cap.

Hi Maureen, as its a red warning light it is critical, check your oil, brake fluid and radiator fluid levels before you drive the car again
