Mend Peugeot 406 T Reg Light

Peugeot 406 T reg clock light?

How to replace bulb assuming this is pos. Have tried to pop it out with a blunt knife. Loosened 2 screws at top of console to take it all out but wary that I may break something. No help from local dealer. Prepared to replace complete clock if pos.

yeah it just pops out from large end outwards.

The clock is not at the top. It is on left side of console and is wedge shaped (LCD type?)
