almost new brother embroy.sewing machine the computer says thread caught?

i have the brother smbroy. sewing machine the whole thing seized up,and wont move.the computer keeps saying thread jammed.i havw checked and cleaned everything i can figure to do,how do i fix this.?it was only used about 5 months,and cost thousands .help if you can,please

Hello Judy,
You will need to take the bobbin case out to get to the jammed thread, or, take the bobbin out and make sure the needle is not threaded and turn the balance wheel backwards and you may be lucky and free it off and get the thread out that way.
