hi, my gateway platinum edition laptop won't boot windows, it keeps resetting and giving me errors like 0X000000D1 and more. i tried recovery disc and that won't work either, tried to go into safe mode and all other options but that won't work either. i tried to look for help, it says something about a floppy drive but i dont have that, ii'm sorry that i am very computer illiterate in trying to fix this problem. could someone please tell me step by step? i have a graphic program installed on my laptop with files for work, and I don't want to loose them. Please help?!
The only way I can think of is to remove the hard drive, place it into an adaptor and connect it to a PC as a slave. Use the PC to rescue any files you need then format the laptop drive, put back into the laptop and reinstall windows.
Someone who knows more about computers than me may be able to offer a better solution.
