How can i fix my bathroom light?

My bathroom light won't turn on when i pull the pull cord, it's not clicking as it should. A new bulb has been fitted.

if you only have 3 wires then one is earth bair wire the other 2 can go to any hole one is live in the other is live out

could you tell me how to wire my bathroom ceiling fon as i have replaced the ceiling and cant rember witch cable went in the live or the neutral and the switch/live

Disconnect the power then replace the switch with a new one.
