Mend Hot Water Sink

How Can I fix a ceramic disc tap?

The hot water tap on my bathroom sink mixer taps valve, which is fitted with a ceramic disc will not switch off. The cold water tap is ok and if I turn on the hot water tap then turn the cold water tap on full and turn the hot water tap off followed by quickly turning of the cold water tap. The hot water tap will turn off!

put a new pr of taps in, ceramic taps are a waste of time, belive me ( plumber 32 Yrs)
