central heating problem?

the only way i can get radiators in the sitting room and hall to work is i have to turn off the radiators off upstairs in bedrooms and bathroom and the one in the kitchen im using the baxi 80e
i get hot water from the taps straight away ive have a new magnaclean filter fitted, system drained and flushed and repreasurised
and still i have to turn off all the other rads to get the sitting room and hall rads to heat up just wondering if anyone has any ideas about this problem there is no fault lights coming on the boiler is says everything is ok

yes the upstairs get hot almost straight away had plumber out yesterday and he has put in some x400 to clean the system out as i dont think it has ever been flushed or had any inhibbitor in it as when i had a magnaclean filter fitted pretty much straight away after about 20 mins or so there was a peice of rust in it so maybe there is more rust particles blocking the system but il try balancing the system rads upstairs and see if that helps also thanks for your help

It sounds as if all your rads need balancing......

Are the ones that normally heat up very hot, especially the ones closest to the boiler (these maybe the upstairs loop on a drop system)?

If so, these rads are robbing the heat from the rest of the system, as in letting too much hot water flow into them, then sending it back to the boiler......

The lock shield side of these rads need to be adjusted to restrict the flow they take to allow more of the hot flow to reach the further rads.....
