The delay is a NORMAL SAFETY DEVICE put there by the MAKER to prevent the DOOR being OPENED while the drum is still ROTATING AND HANDS BEING PUT INSIDE,would BREAK WRIST/ARM very easily.
Turn power off to the machine WAIT 2-3min's door WILL OPEN safety device has worked.
