I can not open the door it has a delayed locking device?

Zanussi Turbodry 1200 Electrolux. It has a delayed locking device and I can not open it and I have lost my manuel

The delay is a NORMAL SAFETY DEVICE put there by the MAKER to prevent the DOOR being OPENED while the drum is still ROTATING AND HANDS BEING PUT INSIDE,would BREAK WRIST/ARM very easily.
Turn power off to the machine WAIT 2-3min's door WILL OPEN safety device has worked.
