Mend Zanussi Machine Start

How do I fix my Zanussi FS1355W washing machine?

I set the dail to the wash cycle and press start, there's the normal first clunk (door lock), but instead of starting the wash cycle it clunks another two times. The End light then flashes and the machine starts beeping.
