i shut down my pc. now it wont boot at all. light on back of tower comes on. but no fans, noise, nothing. like its not getting electric to it to turn on. replaced power cord and stilll wont turn on or nothing its a hp

When you shut down your Pc did you turn off the mains at the wallsocket? If so your power supply in the Pc may not be starting up correctly due to age how old is Pc?
