Mend FIAT Punto (2001) Fiat Bought

How do i fix my wiper on a FIAT Punto (2001) - the linkage has come off?

The linkage on my FIAT Punto has come off and now they want to charge £124 for the machine and linkage, which have to be bought as a whole and as well as that £105 for labour. Can i fix it for any cheaper, through any other method?

i just drilled through both linkages and put a nut and bolt through and its been working fine for over twelve months.steve j

i had same prob remove wiper assembly i drilled into top of pivot pin and used a self taping screw and a flat washer
