Mend Fiat Punto Code Fault Bought

can i get round the code fault on my fiat punto without a red key?

i have just bought a 52 plated fiat punto. i did not receive a red key with the vehicle and the engine code light is on. is their any way i can get round it

the MIL could come on no matter what key you are using,have to go onto a code reader to see what your problem is
