how do i stop stiffness on megane gear box is it just add oil

on the front of the gear box (i.e) facing forwards) about in the middle is a round plug with a square center... get a socket key to fit this plug & remove it....
it's best to get the correct gear oil from your local motor parts shop who will also be able to recomend the correct grade.
