how can I fix my nissan micra?

is it an automatic transmission fluid operates as gear box fluid there could be a prob with your gear box?the screeching could be of the fan belt if the car is not driving i would think about the gear box but do not take my word for it.if you wish contact me on 01506652861 or 07500362163 then you can decribe it better i had 2 nissan micras and loved it never a peace of bother only onced the fuse box is common to melt where the fuse goes for your head lights under the bonnet

Ye gods...I'm not sure if these have a continuously variable transmission or a truly automatic one, but you need professional advice for this one...get the car to a dealer if you can - failing that, ask the workshop manager for his opinion. The transmission fluid would need to be very low to give symptoms like these, and a fluid leak would be obvious under the car.
