is it easy to fit a reverse light sensor to micra 1997 ?
just bought daughter her first run around. the reverse light doesnt work, have checked bulb and fuse both ok. have bought sensor for it, 2 questions is it easy to fit and where is it located on car someone said its on transmission somewhere... help please not very mechanically minded but prepared to have a go to cut down costs,...
i take it you mean the reverse light switch?have a look in and around the top of g/box or where the selector mechanism attaches to g/box,alternatively just look for wiring around the g/box,if you disconnect the wiring from the switch,turn ign.on and bridge over the terminals with a small split pin/wire,if the light works replace the switch.good luck.
