SoundCard installation problem?

When installing soundcard it reports back "This device cannot start (Code 10)" what can be wrong? P4, Sound onboard (C-Media 973x)

I reckon it's a driver problem, are you sure you've got the correct one? Try the motherboard manufacturers website.
