Hi, I've got a scantronic 9448+ alarm and its been in for just over a year now and have just encountered a problem!! when i trigger the alarm and dont enter my code the internal alarm goes off but my external siren doesn't?? I was a bit curious to whether my siren had packed in all together so pressed the panic button near my front door to set alarm off and the external siren worked!!! any suggestions to what may have gone wrong would be extreamly helpful. thanks fr any help!!!
Thanks for your answer, just tested my alarm again and found that the external siren goes off approx 1 min after internal alarm!!!!! Cheers for your help!!!! much appriciated!!!!!

Nothing is wrong as this is the normal operation of a 9448. On activation the internal siren activates first followed by the external siren.
