kettle is performing fine, but the blue LED has failed (after one month of flickering) bad news if you like the cool blue light. Response from Breville (pulse UK email jrichardson@pulse-uk.co.uk) CS department pasted below:-
We are in receipt of your letter with reference to your Breville kettle.
It is regrettable that the illumination light has failed to function, unfortunately this is an LED which is part of the electronic circuit therefore not repairable, this failure is only cosmetic and does not affect the working of the kettle.
The only parts available are the filters at 3.00 each
