how to fix so i can record?

iam unable to record cd or dvd it says unknown disc

My B & O Beosound 9000 will not play cd's. ?

It just keeps clicking and the discs do not spin.

ONLY DVD SONY R?

IT WILL ONLY PLAY DVD-R SONY COPY PHOTOS WITH MUSIC FROM A PC
