Ford Focus CD-6000 Car Radio Keycode - Urgent Help Needed?
PLEASE could someone assist me with this? I own a Ford Focus 1.6 (2004 model) with a CD-6000 sound system... Recently I had to recharge the battery, and as a result the radio has been locked. I've moved so much in recent months that I've now lost my service manual and keycode for the radio! I can provide you with the serial number (M3521812). Where I can generate the code myself? I live in South Africa, and unfortunately in a small town with no local Ford dealership. I have called dealerships in the bigger , but they refuse to help me unless I drive there... I would really appreciate any assistance! Thanks! :)

Theo, have you double checked the serial number ??? I could try the first 6 numbers for you but I don't think that would work.
It may be that the radio has been re-coded at some time and if so the only answer would be to have it re-coded again.
The code generated by using the first 6 numbers, ie. M352181 is 4545 but I really can't see this being correct.
Get back to me after you've checked the serial number again. Good luck !!!

Unfortunately the code doesn't work. I only entered it once, as the radio is already in countdown mode. :( Are there other ways to obtain a code, seeing as my serial number is only 6 numbers long?

Theo, serial numbers are "usually" 6 numbers long although 7 number serials are known. I have used the last 6 numbers of your serial to generate the code 2514. Try it but don't lock the radio up by keeping on trying it. Ask again if you still can't get it going.
