How do i fix my sound?

i accendently deleted my sound thinggy-ma-bob and i have no idea how to get my sound back. there is no little icon in the tool/task bar so i have no idea what to do[i have a windows] i have tryed downloading stuff from the internet that is suppost to help but it just a searcher and you have to regester to accually fix it. Can anyone help me with easy words because im only 13...... thankyou so muchh
