My hard disk won't open normally?

hi i had the same problem and worked out a fix...

open command prompt by clicking start>Run>type''CMD''>enter...

and type ''cd\'' and hit enter to communicate with your c drive...

after that type ''attrib -r -h -s autorun.inf'' hit enter.

then type ''del autorun.inf'' hit enter.

restart you computer if it still dont work you have a virus and need to delete the virus before doing this again!!!!

yes, I have 2 disks one is outboard, and it won't work also. Tell me if you can, how to find BIOS iin the comp. Gracias again.

everytime I try to open one of my diisks i get the same results: select a program to open . I have to go to explore in order to open it.

has this just started happening or have you had hard disk replaced?

do you have more than one drive?

check you'r BIOS settings for the hard drive, ensure description and type correct, including boot sequence.

if more than one drive (which is always better for fault finding)
swop SATA/IDE cables over, if it works leave it

if not copy/save information to other disc, re-install OS
