hi the water pressure on the boiler is reading below 1 bar when its topped up to above that and the heatings on it drips water from the overflow outside. once the heating is turned off and cooled down the pressure guage reads under the min 1 bar any suggestions please ?
problem now solved -replaced the pressure relief valve

yes it does go to nearly 3 bar then drops to almost 0 is the repressurising very expensive ? (dont suppose its a diy job)

Does the pressure raise up to around 3bar when heating on? If so, the expansion vessel will requires repressurising. If this doesnt happen and it just contantly drips you can either remove and clean the pressure relief valve or replace the valve.
