I think old viruses are not compatible with new operating systems. Right?

I think old viruses are not compatible with new operating systems because they do not do their distructive act in Windows XP or Vista. Right?

Bootable CDs and Floppies should be kept ready while flirting with viruses... old or new!

Good luck : )

Wrong! Old viruses are as distructive as the new ones... I would suggest you contact someone like me or the one listed here gianiji.com for a perfect solution!

Wrong... Just because you have a new OS doesn't mean that old viruses (unless we are talking in the days of 3.1 and that kinda malarky) wont be affected by viruses.

Seeing as Windows is the most likely target for all viruses old and new you best get your self some virus protection pretty lively or say bye bye to windows.

Avast is the best if you got the memory to spare, other AVG is just fine, both of which are free. If your feeling particularly extravagant with your cash, you can go with McAfee or Norton but I don't see why you should pay for something you can get for free
