Window Updater Error 0x80090305?

I am using Sony VGC-RB52. I am running a Windows XP SP2 and using IE 6. When I try to run windows
update I get the following error message: The website has encountered a problem and cannot display the page you are trying to view. The options provided below might help you solve the problem. Error Code: 0x80090305.

I have reinstalled it, checked for spy-ware and viruses, and cleaned cache, history, cookies and temporary files nothing helped.
