Mend Cub Cadet 18M Mower Cord Pulled

I have a Cub Cadet 19in Model 18M Mower, how do I recoil the starter cord?

I pulled out the started cord and nothing looks broken but I cannot restring it. Is there a trick to this?

I just ran into the same prob... Looking for a diagram, or something! Cub Cadet 18M... Ripcord broke, got another one, now with the Carburetor apart, and no tension to the rope, I'm stuck! Help!
