recoil starter?

i have a suffolk colt 35s lawn mower and the pull cord came off as i pulled it.does anyone know how to refit the cord? thanks

Exact procedure depends on the age/engine fitted, but essentially, unbolt the recoil starter assembly from the engine and re-wind the cord (use a new one!). Takes about 15 mins.
